At Marty’s Mountain Cycle, we take pride in performing quality bike repairs. We stock many replacement parts and can order anything we don’t have within a few short days. Keeping your bike in working order is our job and we take it seriously. Below is a list of many basic repairs that we perform, along with the rates we charge. Repair jobs not listed are subject to a professional evaluation by one of our mechanics to determine the fairest price.

MMC Hourly Labour Rate: $60

Basic Tune: $45 (45 mins, Labour only)

  • Check/Adjust shifting
  • Check/Adjust Braking
  • Check all bolts/nuts
  • Check/Adjust all bearings
  • Lubricate cables/drivetrain
  • Check spoke tension and wheel trueness (wheels left on bike)
  • Bike Wipe Down

Performance Tune: $65 (65 mins, Labour only)

  • Basic tune with extras:
  • Wheel true (in truing stand)
  • Drive train cleaned in solvent

Major Overhaul: $120 (2 hours, Labour only)

  • Performance Tune with extras:
  • Front/Rear hubs overhaul
  • Bottom Bracket overhaul
  • Headset overhaul

Shop Tasks: Minimum Labour Charge: $6 (Parts never included unless specified)

  • Shifting Adjust (Front OR Rear): $15
  • Shifter Cable Replacement: $15
  • Shifter Replacement: $20
  • Derailleur Replacement (Front OR Rear): $20

Brakes:

  • Brake adjust: $12
  • Brake Cable/Housing Replacement: $15
  • Brake Hose Replacement: $35
  • Brake Bleed: $25 per brake
  • New Brake Replacement: $25
  • Pad Replacement: $10-15 per brake

Wheels:

  • Wheel True: $15
  • Spoke Replacement: $20
  • Wheel Build: $45 (45 min)
  • UST Wheel Build $60 (1 hour)
  • Tubeless Setup: $10
  • Flat Tire: $6
  • Hub Overhaul (Cup and Cone, includes generic bearings): $15
  • Hub Overhaul (Cartridge Bearing): $20
  • Headset Overhaul: $25
  • Headset Replacement: $35
  • Fork Replacement: $35
  • Fork Overhaul (New damper oil and seals, oil included): $60-75. Pricing varies by fork
  • Fork Lowers overhaul (Cartridge damper: new seals and lube): $40

  • D/U bushing $20
